In today’s high-powered world, people frequently find themselves pulled in many different directions. As they try to balance the demands of careers and family life, they are too often left with a feeling of imbalance, a feeling that can manifest in both physical and emotional stress. To reclaim their equilibrium and find lasting relief and peace, more and more people are turning to qigong, a low-impact, time efficient daily practice of gentle exercise.
Zhineng qigong is a gentle therapeutic exercise, both curative and preventive, based on the ancient system of acupuncture meridians. It works on the basic philosophy of exchange of energy between human body and the universe. It offers techniques for improving health – physical, emotional and spiritual. Through a series of exercises aided by a mental imagery and concentration, it aims at releasing stress through self-administered massage on acupuncture points. It not only releases stress but brings in a fresh stream of energy and balance. Through regular practice of qigong, we are able to prevent or dissolve blockages of energy, improve blood circulation, reinforce the immune system and re-establish emotional and physical equilibrium.
Valuable for all ages, it provides a system both preventive and curative to maintain the sense of wellbeing that we all deserve.
was created by Professor Dr. Pang Ming
, a gifted Qigong teacher with training in Chinese and Western medicine. He had received tutelage from 19 Grandmasters in qigong and martial artistes since his early childhood. With the creation of Zhineng Qigong, he has combined the ancient Chinese internal cultivation of Qigong as a healing art with the modern science knowledge of the body and mind. Qigong practice which was kept a secret in China for over 5000 years within certain families and esoteric schools has now been made available to the general public and it is benefiting millions of people around the world. Dr. Pang also founded the largest medicine-less hospital in China, where Zhineng Qigong was used to study mind-body science and its applications to self-healing. He has set up training centers in China that have trained thousands of qigong teachers, most of whom have chosen to dedicate their lives to share and teach qigong to the public.
